New Design, New Install, New Beginning

Rdegree has risen from the ashes. With a new design and a new WordPress under the hood, it’s time to get rolling. It took a server space clean-up, but future quality shall be better.

At last, the new design is done. You—if anybody can hear me—readers have been waiting for it for almost a year. Here it is, brand new and handmade. I also installed the latest version of WordPress, and ditched the old install with any content in it. Let’s call this one a fresh start.

This version of the rdegree design is the outcome of a month of paying around with code and trying out things. The hardest part of coding was to “WordPress-ify” the XHTML/CSS base.

My new promises:

  • Post more.
  • Post more quality.
  • Keep you readers pleased.

These promises are going to be difficult, as I am going to army next summer for 6—12 months. But before that, we have almost a half a year to blog here. I have assigned my first task relating to this blog for myself too: write a tutorial about doing something with Unreal Engine 3, my most favoured game engine. We’ll see how it turns out.

Anyway, I’d be pleased to hear your say on the new design. It’s never too late to make it better. And yes, many things might be broken still, and I’ll be fixing them as I find them.

Thanks for the wait and enjoy a new time of rdegree!
