From Textures To Materials in Unreal Engine 3, Part 1

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to get your own textures working inside Unreal Tournament 3 as materials. We’ll be creating a basic—but usable—texture set for a single material in Photoshop, which is then imported and assembled together inside the material editor of UT3Ed. The first part of this tutorial concentrates on Photoshop.
