18 years.

August 12th, 2008

I turn 18 today. As a result I have the priviledges every finn has here (voting, et cetera). Well except I can’t buy alcohol over ~21% yet, a few years more.

Sorry about the silence over this blog for some time now. I’ve been yet again too swamped with school and other “off-blog” things. I’ve worked on the design some more during the summer, but it’s far from finished (I seem to be a perfectionist).

I really hope I can get this off and running after school. Before that, I’ll make some random posts now and then. Thanks for your patience (yet again).

Firefox 3 is looming in the distance with tens of thousands of fixes and new features, so it surely will be a nice upgrade from 2.x and lower versions. Now Mozilla asks everyone to help them set a new Guiness World Record; most software downloaded in 24 hours. To do this, you’ll need to download a copy of Firefox 3 on the download day. You can throw up a Firefox party at your school or workplace, collect pledges, and invite people to social networking groups at places like MySpace and Facebook. More info on getting involved.

So far, a nice number of 945,676 1,083,334 people all around the world have promised to download Firefox 3 when it’s time. Want to make a promise? Do it now.

School and other major things.

May 17th, 2008

I haven’t written anything in a while. In fact, I haven’t done anything constructive in a while, except reading for exams.

I hope to get a design done for the summer holidays, I hope I begin writing more, but even more I hope I someday graduate from high school. I put school and other “real life” things before my blog. Eventhough I love designing and writing the occasional blogpost, I need to work off-blog for a while (which I’ve been doing for the past few weeks).

Sorry to dissappoint you, but expect to see more activity during the summer. In the meanwhile, you can help me build my about page. Thanks.

Gears of War: Justified Locust killing

April 30th, 2008

Hehe, I read this from my feed reader.

An independent group holding a Gears of War Crimes Tribunal at the Coalition of Ordered Governments headquarters Wednesday to assess whether Delta Squad members Colonel Hoffman, Marcus Fenix, and Dominic Santiago had committed atrocities against the Locust Horde found the three super-soldiers’ actions justified.
